When you are given a warm, inviting smile
Leave a little behind before you walk another mile
When you are given a friendly, encouraging lift up
Leave a little behind to fill up another’s cup
When are given an enthusiastic ‘you can do it, now go’!
Leave a little behind, knowing you reap what you sow
When are given gifts of kind words, action and praise
Leave a little behind to pass along hope
and spirits to raise
When you are given a helping, generous hand
Leave a little behind like footprints in the sand
Choose to make a difference in all that you do
Remember it’s simple…it’s all up to you
