His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will be speaking in Calgary, AB Canada on Sep 30, 2009, bringing a message of peace, hope, and inspiration. One of his central messages is about achieving a happy mind. We at fusedlogic have taken this message to heart. In coordination with this speaking engagement, we are looking to inspire people from around the world to make a donation of food, money, and/or volunteering time to their local food bank organization.

Purpose:

The task is simple yet challenging. Generate 1 million photographs of 1 million donations in one year. This is meant to inspire others to do something positive. We hope to inspire you and your organization to join us in accomplishing this lofty goal.

How you can help:

All we ask is that you, and hopefully others within your organization, spread the word within your networks about this event on Sep 30, 2009 Each participating city will have one ambassador who will organize a central location for the donations and pictures to take place. There is currently a page on Facebook that keeps track of the ambassadors, cities, and participants. Each city/ambassador is responsible for their collective group. The group can be found at: fusedlogic.com. There is also a website where the pictures will be located at happymind.ca, which is up and running on August 15.

We hope you will feel inspired to take part in this challenge on Sept. 30, 2009 achieve in his holiness’ words “A happy mind.”
